i have a black 1997 monte carlo 2 door v6 and i believe its a 3.1L . the top end of the motor was just pretty much redone, with new gaskets. it has new breaks and the tires should be still good. i just had a pre saftey on it and all it needs is a tie rod and a wheel barring i believe, i will have to double check on that. and the mechanic pretty much told us that i was crazy for selling my car for that price because of how good of shape its in. it will need an oil change and possibly spark plugs (easy job). it has pw, pl, ps, a/c, cd player and radio, pm, tinted windows, key less entry. it does have a little bit of rust but no big deal. the only reason i am selling it, is that i had a baby and i need a 4 door car and its hard to get a car seat in and out of a 2 door. this is a good realiable car! and is fast!
